Bob Dylan abri\u00f3 la puerta de un antro imposible: un Hellfire Club trasplantado a Triana, encajado en una callejuela h\u00fameda donde el alba todav\u00eda dudaba en nacer. No buscaba bullicio ni compa\u00f1\u00eda, sino un recuerdo. Un destello de juventud.<\/p>\n

All\u00ed, en otra noche remota, le hab\u00eda servido una copa, una camarera de ojos inmensos, estudiante de Filolog\u00eda. Con aquellos ojos le habl\u00f3 de Lorca<\/a>, de la Casida de la mujer tendida, y m\u00e1s tarde, entre su pecho generoso, Dylan comprendi\u00f3 que la m\u00e9trica de las casidas beb\u00eda del narc\u00f3tico paso de las caravanas del desierto. No hubo amor ni promesas: ella era demasiado libre para amar a una estrella fugaz del folk, y \u00e9l demasiado mortal para intentar un segundo encuentro.<\/p>\n

Un viol\u00edn estremecedor rompi\u00f3 el recuerdo. Dylan parpade\u00f3: no hab\u00eda antro, ni ojos, ni casidas. Solo una m\u00e1quina expendedora de Coca-Cola parpadeando en soledad. Afuera, la ma\u00f1ana ya mord\u00eda el aire.<\/p>\n

Entr\u00f3 en un bar cualquiera. Dos camareras hermosas discut\u00edan con un viejo que se quejaba del precio del vino blanco. Ellas, con un descaro te\u00f1ido de risa amarga, le dijeron que no hab\u00edan venido al mundo para aguantar su mal humor ni para regatear precios. Ten\u00edan dieciocho a\u00f1os, llevaban trabajando desde los diecis\u00e9is, y la vida se les antojaba condena.<\/p>\n

El jubilado, encogiendo los hombros, les lanz\u00f3 una sentencia de taberna: peor para vosotras, la felicidad consiste en creer en lo que se hace. Ellas bufaron, quej\u00e1ndose del mundo materialista; \u00e9l replic\u00f3 que as\u00ed hab\u00eda sido siempre.<\/p>\n

Detr\u00e1s de las gafas oscuras, a Dylan se le resbalaron dos l\u00e1grimas. Pidi\u00f3 un vino. En ingl\u00e9s, impecable, confes\u00f3 al joven camarero que estaba perdido, que no hallaba el camino a su hotel. El muchacho, incapaz de entender, pens\u00f3 que aquel extranjero solo le buscaba m\u00e1s trabajo.<\/p>\n

Entonces otro anciano, discreto y paciente, sac\u00f3 su m\u00f3vil, abri\u00f3 Google Translate y, con una sonrisa, le mostr\u00f3 la ruta. Dylan asinti\u00f3 agradecido. Y mientras sal\u00eda del bar, pens\u00f3 que no era la m\u00fasica la que hab\u00eda perdido su vocaci\u00f3n, sino la vida misma detr\u00e1s de la barra, donde el desencanto serv\u00eda copas a cambio de un salario m\u00ednimo.<\/p>\n
