La m\u00fasica, al servicio del relato de Zan\u00f3n. Y el relato, al servicio de la m\u00fasica, aunque Albert y Ricky Gil fueron colaborando con el futuro escritor de las novelas de Pepe Carvalho para pulir las letras de las canciones. Tambi\u00e9n aportaron su grano de arena. A Carlos Zan\u00f3n siempre le han gustado muchas cosas m\u00e1s que la novela negra, el g\u00e9nero que domina, y lo vuelve a demostrar.<\/p>\n<p>Los discos de Brighton 64 siempre han sido algo m\u00e1s que m\u00fasica. El primero, llamado \u201cBarcelona Blues\u201d, ya era un homenaje cr\u00edtico a la ciudad. Con el tiempo, es uno de los himnos que mejor describen los a\u00f1os 80 en la Barcelona postfranquista y preol\u00edmpica. Una Barcelona con bares de negros, vagabundos hurgando en la basura y mods escapistas que so\u00f1aban con viajar a playas de guerra juvenil. Una Barcelona donde hab\u00eda fiestas en la Valle d\u2019Hebron en las que siempre sonaba la misma canci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13596\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13596\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.revistarambla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/zanon-03.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13596\" src=\"https:\/\/www.revistarambla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/zanon-03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"522\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.revistarambla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/zanon-03.jpg 458w, https:\/\/www.revistarambla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/zanon-03-172x300.jpg 172w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13596\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Brighton 64.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Los discos de los Brighton 64 siempre han sido algo m\u00e1s que m\u00fasica. La portada del single de los Brighton 64 \u201cDeja de tocar a mi chica\u201d ya era un homenaje al Pop Art de Roy Lichtenstein. Al igual que la portada de \u201cHaz el amor\u201d era un tributo a Tom Wesselmann, otro de los padres del Pop Art. Su \u00e9xito de 1987 \u201cLa casa de la bomba\u201d estaba inspirado en el famoso relato sobre los mods de Tom Wolfe, el padre del Nuevo Periodismo americano.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Zan\u00f3n se ha unido a los Brighton 64 en este renacimiento del grupo, creado en 1981, pero que ahora vive una segunda juventud, con cuatro discos publicados en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os: \u201cFotos del ayer\u201d, \u201cEsta vez va en serio\u201d, \u201cModernista\u201d y este \u201cEl tren de la bruja\u201d. Hasta Barcelona les rinde un homenaje con un concierto en las fiestas de la Merc\u00e8 de este 2017. Un tributo de la Ciudad Condal a su pasado, y presente, Mod.<\/p>\n<p>El relato que escribi\u00f3 Carlos Zan\u00f3n y que da pie a todas las letras se puede leer en el interior del disco.\u00a0Rai es el protagonista de toda la historia, en su intento de revivir el pasado.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTe subes al tren de la bruja y todo es r\u00e1pido y excitante, Rai.
